You will be informed per mail about a new version of the Tool Suite. The mail will also contain release notes about bugfixes and/or new functionality delivered in this release. The version will be available in the download area as in the initial release.

Step-by-step instructions

Add the steps involved:

  1. Download the .war file for the new version from the download area. Attention: Internet Explorer sometimes renames the .war file to a .zip file. If that happens, just rename it back to .war.
  2. Stop Tomcat.
  3. Open the folder webapps of your Tomcat installation, delete the file ROOT.war and the folder ROOT.
  4. Copy the downloaded .war file to webapps.
  5. Restart Tomcat.
  6. Verify that the new version has been installed by accessing the application and checking that you see the new version number in the footer:




Wir empfehlen dringend, vor dem Löschen der Datei ROOT.war sicherzugehen, dass ein Backup der Vorversion in Form des ursprünglich heruntergeladenen war-files existiert.
